Field Update from Ellen Abramson in the Dominican Republic

Ellen Abramson is currently on the ground in the Dominican Republic, and her recent visit touched our hearts deeply. She spent time with a family we've supported for many years. They live in a rented apartment that reeks of mold, a space unfit for anyone, let alone a family with six children who share three mattresses on the floor of a single room. The father abandoned them, leaving his six children to fend for themselves while he started a new life.

Despite these hardships, there is hope on the horizon. Construction has begun on their new three-bedroom home. Ellen told the seventh-grade boy, the third youngest in the family, that she was happy their home would soon be completed. He responded with a poignant, "If you are happy, imagine how much happier I am!"

Please join us in praying for the funds needed to complete this house. Let us praise God for the impending relief this family will soon experience. Together, we can bring them the joy and stability they so desperately need.

We urgently need your support to finish building their new home.

Please give, and give generously. Your contribution will make a profound difference in their lives.

Fantastic news! We are thrilled to announce that we are fully funded for this project as of 8/1/2024! Your generous support and unwavering commitment have made this possible. We asked for your help, and you have all stepped up to provide for this family. Thank you very much! Praise the Lord for this wonderful blessing!

We are planning on purchasing land and building another home in the Dominican Republic in the summer of 2025. Stay tuned for details on that project!
