Ghana Update: Building for the Future
As we approach the end of the year, we are grateful for the steady and encouraging progress taking place across all of our fields. In this update, we want to focus specifically on Ghana, where significant steps are being taken to strengthen educational infrastructure and expand long-term opportunity.
When our team was in Ghana earlier this year, we committed to funding one final building for the school. The initial plan was to add a fourth floor to the existing structure. However, after careful review, it became clear that a separate building would be a better solution. A fourth floor would have created accessibility challenges, while a standalone building allows the school to remain flexible and positioned for future expansion as needs grow.
This new building will include three additional classrooms for science laboratories, and designated rest and treatment areas for students who are ill and awaiting pickup. These additions are critical for both academic development and student care, ensuring the school can serve its growing population well.
As you can see in the video below, construction is rapidly moving forward. The columns have been poured, brickwork is underway, and visible progress is being made day by day. While this project is not yet fully funded, we are continuing to walk in faith—trusting that the necessary resources will come together to see this vision completed.
